A drink maker out of the UK is expanding their demographic to include pregnant women. The company is pushing a non-alcoholic wine called Eisberg as a way for pregnant women who miss drinking wine to have a safe indulgence. They have even set up a page on their website specifically for pregnant women that provides tips for baby showers.

Non-alcoholic wines have existed since the 80's, but companies haven't ever marketed them to pregnant women. The sight of a pregnant woman drinking a glass of wine could have some unintended consequences. Some people might take the sight as a sign that it's okay to drink during pregnancy without knowing that the drink is non-alcoholic. On the plus side, people making snide remarks to a pregnant woman who may or may not be indulging in a real glass of wine could find themselves embarrassed to learn that a drink is non-alcoholic.

Wine connoisseurs have consistently found non-alcoholic wines to not be very good and actually recommend indulging in fruity non-alcoholic drinks instead. However, for the wine-lover who finds herself pregnant, Eisberg's new product might be a good way to satisfy cravings. In the US, one wine connoisseur found this non-alcoholic Cabernet to be decent.
