Thanksgiving and Pregnant
Thanksgiving while being pregnant is a challenge in many ways; what food to eat, hosting, cooking, family wanting to RUB your belly, the list can go on.
If you are hosting your family's Thanksgiving make sure you designate duties or side dishes to as many people as possible. Keep yourself to only taking on the turkey and the table setting. An even further step is having a fried or BBQ turkey so the men can cook it for you!
If you are visiting family members, offer to bring a simple dish and let the non-pregnant ones take on the larger and more difficult dishes. If you are a clean-up personality step back this year and let others do their share. Sit back, relax and enjoy the food!
We all know that our family members are so excited about new babies and the pregnant bellies that they believe belong to them. There is no avoiding the attention that you are pregnant. Try your hardest to grin and bare it and accept that others are just as excited about your baby as you are! Rubbing a pregnant belly is the way that others are able bond with your baby.
The most important NOT to do is to visit the mall on black Friday! Stay home and relax after the crazy day that you had the day before!
How do you plan to stay calm and happy on Thanksgiving?

I plan on going to my Grandma's house for Thanksgiving and on Friday I'm cooking at my house with the Hubby and my 4 year old's help. I love to cook and it is surprizingly a relaxing time for me. Holidays were always huge with loads of family up for me so I'm more stressed sitting home by myself than being in the mix of things. When I was pregnat with my 4 year old I cooked Thanksgiving dinner for everyone in my family (with help of course)and I was 7 months last time and I had so much fun.
