I think it is utterly ridiculous to be having so many children.

This truly is ridiculous! Now they think its alright to just keep popping babies out.......TLC will pay for them! We need to quit rewarding families for making crazy decisions. Have 20+ kids...get a tv show! Have 3 wives who are all sisters.....get a tv show! Weigh 700+ lbs get a tv show! Cram pack your house with as much crap that you don't need until you can't see your floor or walls......get a tv show! Reality tv is getting gross!

Hey! Their first was born days after my first, and their second is due the same month as my second. :-)

Praise God for the many blessings he's given the Duggars! These children have been raised to love the Lord and I can't think of a better family to do this! I'd rather have 19 children be born to God loving people than even one be born to someone who abuses them or neglects them!

I think this news is awesome!  You should have as many children as you are able to handle.  A large family is the best part of life.  I am a 51 year old woman with two beautiful daughters and I wish I had lots more.  My husband was not in favor of a large family as he is an only child and he thought two was alot.  Now he wishes that we had alot more but its too late.  The Duggar family is a beautiful family and an inspiration to all.

Really?? I can think of a much worse 'reward' system that needs to be stopped. At least the Duggars are only getting paid because obviously people want to follow their families. The American welfare system is terribly abused and you pay for it daily. If you want to argue a cause at least fight one that actually affects you as a taxpayer. The Duggars cost you nothing.
I think it is awesome that they have so many children. I could never do that, and I think it is admirable that they are able to love and care for each one. They are raising them to be responsible and with positive values, based on the Bible. They are not hurting anyone. I pray God richly blesses their family!

i think it is absolutely unfair to the older children who are saddled with taking care of the little ones.

I think the Duggars are blessed to have so many children.  ALL children are a blessing from God and the Duggars are great parents to all of those children.  If the older kids are so pressured to take care of the younger ones then why would the oldest son want more than is parents? He must not think it was too bad! I have my 6th baby on the way and I cannot imagine having 13 more but thats not me to judge them.  If her body can handle more pregnancies than more power to her!  Also, they are good Christian people who are setting a great example to others who have no idea how to raise their kids.
