While the savings are spectacular, the main purpose of the sale is to raise money for charity. This particular sales event will benefit the Hands and Feet Project, a small orphanage in Haiti which currently cares for forty abandoned children in a family-style village with the ultimate goal to duplicate the orphanage/village all over impoverished nations.

Haiti was recently hit with back-to-back hurricanes, including Gustav and Ike, which destroyed the orphanage they have worked so hard to build. Petunia is on a mission to help.

To help reach their goal of $100,000, Petunia will match dollars donated by you during the outlet sale. The company has pledged to donate $10,000 regardless of additional donations from shoppers.
