Smart Mom Teething Bling
This is such a cool idea. Inspired by babies who like to tug on momma's jewelry,
SmartMom Teething Bling
was designed for mommies everywhere and their little ones who like to handle and chew. Each piece is made of non-toxic, latex-free silicone, the same material as many teething toys, except it's meant to be worn. Choose from
donut
or
heart-shaped
pendants and wear them around your neck or
on your keys
.
"Pretty and practical" is their motto, and I couldn't agree more!

It sounds like a wonderful idea, but how sanitary is it if it is on your keys.
And although I am very clean and bathe twice a day, it is still summertime and perspiration is a key factor here. I do not want to bust anyone's bubble, but YUCK!!!

I agree the keys might be a little dirty but come on, you can't worry about perspiration from your body. Your baby needs a few germs. Let him live a little. YOu kiss him right?

I think that my son grabs my diamond necklace and puts it in his mouth before I can even try to stop him. He does it ALL DAY so this would be a great alternative.

I think it is an awesome idea. My son now grabs everything he can get his hands on including my jewelry. I agree the keys may be a little unsanitary, but the necklace/bracelet alternative would be with you at all times and you wouldn't have to worry about damaging your good jewelry.

Sounds great and very stylish looking! I just found out that I'm pregnant for the first time!! I won't have to worry about teething for a while but when I do this sounds great!

On one hand, good idea....
On another...gosh, just another product to allow people to be non-attentive to what their child is doing. God forbid we take the time to get the teething ring out of the diaper bag or have to sacrafice not wearing a necklace!

Just sounds like another way to get a buck out of new moms. I would hate to admit I bought a teething ring for my neck. Reminds me of the old CD or the clock around the neck.

Isn't this just teaching the baby thats its okay to grab something around someone neck and put it into his mouth? What about when he grabs something about grandma's neck....and its the necklace (more likely than not) and not the teeth "jewelry?"

it's amazing how can some one think of maling such a unsanitary and foolish product. I'm tired of people trying to sell anything they can for babies. I'll never buy such a thing and I can't believe or understand how can someone find such a weird thing amazing. I guess the world is full of s...

Well I think this sounds like a great idea. Nice for those times when you forget about packing the teething ring and this comes to the rescue.

Aidan's mom
Aidan has gotten so grabby at 4 mos, I've had to stop wearing necklaces....better than wearing some cheesy plastic thing...not to mention, I doubt he has developed the critcal thought skills required to differentiate between mommy's teething necklace and someone else's expensive jewelry!

I cant compromise my necklacs for a toy, I rather start teaching my baby the right thing now , i.e dat its wrong to pick necklaces and put in d mouth.

WELL...... I agree on all points. As a mom of four I can be absent minded and forget to grab a chew toy but for such a cost it does kinda sound like a rip off. On the key chain I think is nasty but if I was so inclined to get it I sure wouldnt care if I was a little sweaty, my babies gnaw the heck outta my shoulder and they are just fine sweat or not. Babies chew on their hands if us momies got nothig for them so I say boo for this product. Just outta curiosity is anyone else worried more about them poking their little eyes out with the keys on the key chain? Not very well thought out!!!!
