There is no better excuse to show your love of green, "the color of life," according to Oprah, than the Irish holiday of St. Patrick's Day. You have a few options when it comes to what to wear, and less than a week to decide.

Option #1: Dig through your closet to find that old, over-sized t-shirt that says "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" in huge, bright green letters ... even though you're Italian.

Option #2: Stop at the drugstore on your way to work to pick up a pair of those cheap plastic shamrock-shaped sunglasses ... not to actually wear, but to throw on when your co-workers come around and threaten to pinch you.

Option #3: Get in the holiday spirit in a cuter, more sophisticated, more style-conscious way.

Since you're a hot mama-to-be and a fan of Maternity & Style, I'll assume you chose number three! With spring on its way, clothing and accessories in all shades of green can be found almost anywhere you go. I just visited a few stores online and within minutes I found all the adorable pieces pictured above.

The clement weather hoodie from anthropologie ($78 in leaf) is an all-season essential of pique and crochet that's cozy enough to wear when it's cool, airy enough to wear when it's warm, and so pretty that you'll want to wear is just about all the time.

Just below it is one of the many super cool shades of natural Zoya nail polish, designed to be free of the most harmful toxins - Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP - and provide the longest wear possible on natural nails. Zoya nail polish was created in 1984 by a pregnant aesthetician and salon owner who realized the need for a healthier and more durable solution. You friends will be green with envy when you show up wearing this mossy metallic shade ($6 from artofbeauty.com).

Next to the polish you'll notice the Kooba Talia east/west tote from Bloomingdale's ($625 in grass). This leather purse can hold more than your typical handbag with its two front exterior zip pockets, interior zip, cell phone slot and additional inner storage areas.

Above the tote is the Daino belt from Neiman Marcus ($285 in green). This accessory will work better for expectant moms in the earlier stages of pregnancy, of course, but it can be used for many a St. Patrick's Day outfit (and more) for years to come.

To the right of the belt is an elegant 14-carat gold emerald and diamond circle pendant from Macy's (on sale for $356 from $700). If you're a St. Patrick's Day baby (or there is a possibility that you might give birth to one), this could be a great gift idea from the dad-to-be to you, his beautiful wife.

If you've already got the perfect St. Patrick's Day outfit planned, perhaps all that's left to decide on is a cute pair of shoes. These Jessica Simpson Daria sandals ($73 in kelly green from Zappos.com) are both cute and comfy, and they come in a variety of colors (including black and white, just in case kelly green clashes with your emerald green top).

Whatever you decide to wear, have fun with it. Éire go Brách!
