Finding the right pair of maternity jeans is not an easy task, but a great fitting pair of jeans is a maternity wardrobe essential. Here are a few pointers from PUSH Maternity buyer (and mum of two) Susan Kirby to get you started.

This is a super skinny and sexy jean; however it is best avoided if your thighs are on the heavy side! Juicy Couture Cali Cut Jean

For those who prefer a classic bootcut style there are now plenty available. The Juicy Couture Cali Cut jean (see above) is customised with a panel just at the front, they are great for elongating the legs - but again probably best avoided by those with thicker thighs.


Habitual’s ‘Knocked up’ Jean

Habitual’s ‘Knocked up’ jean (see above) sits very low under the bump and has no panels so just look like regular jeans – these are great for tall leggy women but best avoided if you are on the short side. Serfontaine’s Mezzanine jean, feature a font under bump panel, are super comfy and cut on the large side, so great for those with wider hips and thicker thighs, best avoided though if you are over 5’8” as they are a little on the short side.


Citizens of Humanity’s Kelly Jean

Citizens of Humanity’s Kelly jean (see above) suits and fits pretty much anyone, they are a consistent best seller at PUSH and are both comfy and flattering, with the fabulous 'butt lifting' properties that make the non-maternity versions such an amazing jean. The jeans are customised with a Lycra panel which goes all the way around.
