I don't know why Anna Nicole Smith looks so strange in this particular photo, but People.com is reporting that Howard K. Stern is listed as the father of Smith's newborn daughter on her Bahamian birth certificate.

On the certificate, issued by the Registrar General's office in Nassau, The Bahamas, the child is identified as Dannielynn Hope Marshall Stern, born on Sept. 7 in the Doctors Hospital in Nassau on the island of New Providence.

Stern, who has been Smith's longtime attorney and confidante, said during a Sept. 26 Larry King Live appearance that he is the baby's father. "Based on the timing of it, there shouldn't be a doubt (of the paternity)," he said.

However, photographer Larry Birkhead, who alleges he had a relationship with Smith in California, also claims to be the father of the newborn, and has filed papers in a California court to establish paternity of the child.
